This turmeric supplement is working out well for me, as I expected. I’ve been taking turmeric supplements for several years, mainly to fight inflammation. My husband also takes turmeric because he has some joint pain and stiffness. We both appreciate these Nutra Guru brand turmeric supplements because the capsules contain black pepper as well as a potent amount of turmeric. The capsules are clear so you can see for yourself that they are filled with the deep golden turmeric, which in my opinion is exactly how they should look — to me, a deep golden color means good quality turmeric. I really like that these came with a clear plastic seal around the outer lid, and then another seal underneath the lid, across the top of the bottle. It’s also nice that these are are non-GMO and made in a certified GMP facility. They are easy to swallow and have no aftertaste.
Overall, this turmeric supplement is working out well for us. We are pleased with the color and quality of the turmeric and like that it contains black pepper, as well.

I really like these…as you can smell the freshness of the turmeric when you open the bottle…and I feel good taking them. Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory that also crosses the blood-brain barrier. So effective at lots of anti-inflammatory uses. Another thing I really like is that it made in the USA and is relatively clean, with no strange indregidients present. Very good. (the only additional ingredient is “vegan capsules”, so nothing strange.)
The only bad thing here, for me, and why I cannot give it 5 stars, is that it is a newish company, and I like to know a fair amount of info on where the supplements I take originate. So while I am very happy to see made in the USA…it doesn’t really say exactly where, what facility, or much about the company. They do have a website, and good looking socials, and a person with the same listed address is apparently a doctor also in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They definitely look credible, but it would be good if somewhere on the website it says who owns/runs it, and where it iis made exactly, and things of that nature. Instead of having to dig up records and find an address that matches another address etc.
But again, I cant find anything bad at all, it seems very reputable, more reputable than many supplments I have tried…and it checks every other box such as made in the USA, clean, and good quality. So I very much like these, and would definitley consider ordering them again.

Easy to swallow. No bad taste or aftertaste. I feel good putting this in my body because I feel it has great benefits. Easier to take as one supplement instead of separate. Good value. Would recommend.

I’m reviewing Nutra Guru Turmeric Curcumin with Black Pepper, 90 Capsules.
This supplement comes in the form of medium large capsules filled with an orange color powder. They measure 7/8″ long. The scent and taste reflects the turmeric. I found these capsules to be easy to take and didn’t notice any lingering aftertaste. A serving size is 2 capsules making this a 45 day supply.

These capsules come in a white plastic bottle with a child-resistant lid. The lid was shrink wrapped, and the tamper-proof seal was intact. The EXP is 01/2026.
As a side note, this Guru Turmeric Curcumin with Black Pepper is made in the USA per the product label.

The plastic cellophane material that goes around the lid does little as the lid can easily (and I mean easily) be unscrewed with the cellophane. In other words, the cellophane comes off with the lid and the lid can easily be taken on / off with no damage to the cellophane. In addition, the little thin seal that ultimately is used to seal the top of the container under the lid, well it has little to nothing holding it onto the top and it came off with the lid as well with no damage to it. Bottom line, these bottles are not very well sealed against tampering. For what these cost and the amount of product (950 mgs per 2 capsules), there are much better options available. Easy to find well over 2,000 mgs per dose at much better price per dose. Overall these are a 3 star product as far as I’m concerned.
